Subjects - English
Unlike the assumption that is generally behind the standard 'school' system, 'real' people do not 'all' progress at exactly the same rate, and so the assumption that Year 'X' should contain "YZ ..." to fit all students is just not human and educational reality!
The HomeLearn Launchpad program is organised by 'literacy' levels, with the school 'year level' being actually mostly irrelevant to the choice of course... ie there are NO 'year' or 'grade' courses, only 'literacy level' based courses, which can be used by students at any age from 14 upwards (although some are designed to for older students).
This chart shows the range of courses, with the 'source' readers and language level expectations of each. Note that there is no 'grade' distinction with the courses ... only literacy development distinction.
